Friday is usually my Spn day and since this hiatus is way too long I've decided to make Season 4 picspams!I will start with 4x01 and 4x11!
I know many of you aren't very pleased with all the episodes but I guess it's what happens when you are very fond of something!This show really brings out the passion in the fandom!:P Personally I've never been disappointed with the show,NEVER EVER,not even during season 3,Supernatural is like a journey and I'm ready to follow those brothers and their story...whatever it takes!I also wanted to rec THIS meta-review of Heaven and Hell made by [info]sylvia_bond,I like how she talks about the episodes because it's like a combination of fangirling and serious business!I want to quote something she said that pretty much reflects my thoughts and feelings:
He’s good. He’s very damn good and I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot, but there it is. It needs saying: Ackles has developed so much as an actor that he’s almost outgrown this part, and perhaps even Show. The writer(s) sometimes don’t seem to understand the power of the characters they’ve created, and often underutilize the talents of the actors who play them. I think that Show would improve its ratings if it would allow their characters to live up to who they are, and if it would allow these actors to do more, more often, instead of saving scenes like this admittedly very brilliant soliloquy for the last three minutes of each episode.

Well,maybe a couple of things:Dean breaks my heart,he doesn't deserve all this pain because he has the biggest heart in the world!

I completely agree with the bit you quoted. I think that what's happening is the actors are improving while the writers are great but they're not pushing the envelope? I don't know. I mean, I love Show and I am almost always happy with it (when I go crazy about it, I always rethink myself later), but the 3 minutes of emo thing is... well. I think it's a testament to Sera and Kripke clashing a little actually, in what they like about the characters and the dynamic, and...I feel like I should say more that's coherent and awesome but. Too braindead.

I'm with you,I really think Sam and Dean are two great and powerful characters (points to all the incredible fanfictions and art in general out there) and right now they need to be pushed!Yeah,we need plots that challenge the wonderful acting skills of Jensen and Jared!;D

I completely agree, that scene was very powerful and excellently played by everyone involved, but Show kind of yanked the emotional rug out from under us when it was all revealed to be part of Sam's cunning plan.

Oh, lovely pic choices! You know my feelings for this season go up and down, all in all, though, I am very happy with it because nothing I haven't liked has been able to lessen the love I have for Sam and Dean. I think that this season is the hardest, because of the changes both have gone trough and their respective traumatic experience, but I am positive that every road takes back to Sam n' Dean.

I understand your feelings,I have some issues too with a couple of choices and things in general,but as you say this season is really hard to handle,we're lucky those two characters (and those two actors) are powerful enough to make us feel safe!:P
Sometimes I ask myself if my love for this show makes me blind and you've just answered the question with this:nothing I haven't liked has been able to lessen the love I have for Sam and Dean.
Siamo tutti molto critici e desiderosi del meglio perchè, come dice anche la ragazza che ha scritto la recensione,Kripke&Co. hanno creato due personaggi davvero potenti,pensaci bene...magari dico una cosa stupida ma tutto il talentuoso fandom che ruota intorno a questo show avrebbe senso se avessimo a che fare con dei normali personaggi di uno show sfigato che parla di soprannaturale?

I like the bit where you point out his "hunter life" muscles, which are real muscles that he's developed over time, doing real things as opposed to working in a gym! And I liked the grazed knuckles one too, I can imagine this image in my mind when I think about him clawing his way out of the earth.

I'm lurking because I'm a lurker and well I was checking out your icons and very awesome wallpapers and I saw this wow that quote is right on that you had on the cut. I don't know I still have mad love for this show and it hasn't stopped this hiatus is killing me just like Dean is killing me. That last scene just destroyed me man. Ackles crying always makes me fall apart this scene is not different. He's so human, fragile, raw, like an open wound but still utterly beautiful.

I wandered by to see if you had done a picspam of "Two Minutes to Midnight." You haven't (I hope you do), but I decided to check out your other picspams. I hope you don't mind a comment on an old post.

I love this. It reminds how much I enjoyed season four and how much the guys (Cas included) have gone through.

You chose great moments that show how good Jensen is at showing us what Dean is thinking and feeling. Jared's pretty good too; one of the reasons I cried during that last scene with Dean's confession was Sam's reaction.

Now to go look at some other picspams!
