Thank you all for the nice words. I just got home, and I'm feeling a bit mopey still. I held it together all day, and most of the evening. I got a bit teary when saying goodbye to those workmates I have worked closely with over the last two years; they are all like second mothers to me, so it will be weird not to see them every day. I held it together until I got in my car, and out of the carpark, and then I cried the whole way home. I think I needed to get it all out. I don't know if it was because of that, or because I just was stressed and tired, and nervous and anxious and it just had to happen. I feel a bit better now. They gave me a beautiful huge card filled with personal messages. I cried again reading all of those. They say such lovely things, and it makes me feel like I'm not another person leaving, but that they actually enjoyed working with me and having me around, which is nice I guess. They also bought me a beautiful silver linked bracelet which is lovely, and I'm too scared to wear it because it looks so delicate. A nice gift as I was saying to someone the other day that I like jewellery but never buy it, and I suppose they had to get something small that I could take away with me.

And ever the jokers, they gave me a picture frame, and inside they put this bank note I have been working on since I started work as a teller. Basically we get a lot of parts of notes - bits that have ripped off, but aren't worth anything. Usually we would just throw them out, but one day I started taping them all together into a giant note of all different little pieces and demoninations. It looks awesome and colourful. I had it pinned out the back on the noticeboard in the safe and whenever someone had a bit of a note, they would tape it on there for me. So they got that framed! Haha.

Either way, that is that. I'm finished at the bank. No doubt I'll be looking for bank work when I get to the UK, and I do have a lot of skills to offer, so hopefully someone will hire me. But for now, I have nine days until I pack up my life, and fly off to a new one.

The rerun of DALDOM tonight inspired me to make more fanart using Picnik. It's been a while since I've made any significant fanart and it was fun to get back into it again. :)

I actually have quite a few fanart pieces and icons that I've never posted. Guess I'll have to get busy, huh? ;)
